OUTDOOR PALLETS CHILL OUT

   Quería un espacio chill out de relax en la terraza, para disfrutar de las noches de verano y las tardes de invierno...y ¿quién no quiere eso? :)

Pensé que los palets eran una opción fácil y económica, y no me equivocaba, pero antes de poneos manos a la obra os dejo unos consejos:

-En mi caso me regalaron los palets, y ¡eran rojos y azules! Lijarlos ha sido un coñazo, y me he ahorrado el gasto en lijadora porque me la han prestado (si no tenéis lijadora a mano pensad si os merece la pena comprar una porque le vais a dar más uso o si mejor buscáis palets más nuevos).
-Pintarlos con imprimación y darles la capa de pintura blanca también otro coñazo, ya que las zonas "internas" son menos accesibles y se llevan algo de tiempo.
-Pesan un quintal y están algo astillados, ¡cuidado con las manos o os las desollareis!

    I wanted a relax chill out space at my terrace and I tought pallets could be a great idea. I also tought it would be so easy, but before you start working with them let me give you a few advices:

-Somebody gave me the pallets for free, but they were red and blue, the sand down was not nice, and if you do not have a sander you must think wether if it is worth to spend money on it or if it is better to look for newer pallets.
-The white painting wasn´t easy too, internal pallets areas are not easy to reach!
-Pallets are veay heavy, be careful!

1) Lijado. Me prestaron 2 lijadoras distintas y aún así me fue imposible lijar todos los rincones. Ponte gafas y mascarilla (o un pañuelo que te cubra nariz y boca).

Sanding down. Somebody lent me 2 sanders and I was not even able to sand all the pallet corners. Use glasses and something to protect your nose and mouth from wood dust.

2) Imprimación. Aplicamos una capa de imprimación blanca y una vez seca pintamos con pintura de exterior.

Apply withe imprimation before the painting task. Then work with outdoor paint.

3) A ponerlo, maquearlo todo y a disfrutarlo...
