Re-making !!: PREPPY RED DRESS

En las rebajas de última hora me encontré un vestidico tirado de precio pero que me quedaba un poco "camisón de la abuela".
Por el precio irrisorio (5,99 €) pensé que merecía la pena llevárselo y reformarlo. I was right ;)
Voy a rehacer el cuello, las mangas y añadirle una cintura para que quede más molón.

I found a very cheap dress on last sales (5.99€), so I thought it was worth to try a DIY.
I will re-make the neck , the sleeves, and I will add a "belt" to make it more fit.

1) El antes.

2) Empezamos por el cuello.
Este vestido tiene una costura delantera que parte el pecho en dos, con lo cual es supersencillo descoserla y seguir las guías de los detalles en forma de uve para construir un cuello de pico.
También cortamos las mangas, que aunque me gustan las del vestido original quiero transformarlo en un vestido de más verano.

We will start with the neck-line.
This dress has a sewing in the middle of the breast, so it is really easy to unsew it and follow the V-shaped details to create a V-neck.
We will also cut the sleeves, I actually like their former shape, but I want the dress to look more like a summer one.

3) Recortamos el sobrante del cuello y le hacemos un dobladillo.
Las mangas las enrollamos y cosemos ligeramente para mantener la forma que deseamos antes de hacerles los dobladillos (podéis hilvanar también, pero yo estaba en modo vago :P)... y queda tal que así:

We roll the hem on the neck-line.
Also pre-do the sleeves hem.

4) Con los trozos sobrantes de las mangas vamos a construir un "cinturón" para el vestido.

With the remaining pieces from the sleeves we will work on a belt.
